In 1988, Stephen Rosenberg founded Greystone and turned it into a successful group of companies with over 7,000 employees all over the United States. Regardless of his success, part of Mr. Rosenberg’s DNA has always been to give back to people that are less fortunate than him. From that sentiment, Harmony Housing was born. Completely separate from Greystone and the day-to-day operations of the financial services company, Harmony Housing’s mission is to make a positive difference in people’s lives through providing safe and comfortable affordable rental housing.

Harmony Housing is a national 501(c)3 focused exclusively on the acquisition of existing affordable housing assets that are at, or nearing the end of, their initial compliance periods. Part of Harmony Housing’s goal is to create a stream of cash flow to fund charitable causes worldwide. The funds generated by this endeavor are not used to pay profits, salaries or entity operating expenses, but are used only for charitable purposes.

Harmony Housing has been in operation for more than ten years and has purchased more than five thousand units. The senior management team of Harmony has in excess of one hundred years of combined affordable housing ownership and lending experience.
